What is 3x3?
Welcome to 3x3 basketball. It’s half court and FULL THROTTLE. The Sacramento Kings, Kaiser Permanente, and 3BALL USA are proud to bring this exciting new brand of basketball to Sacramento, home of the greatest basketball fans in the world! FIBA 3x3, considered the fastest-paced team sport in the world, is now an Olympic sport and was an instant hit when it debuted last year at the Tokyo Olympic Games.

This isn’t the 3-on-3 you remember playing in the park. Every possession is life and death in this gladiator sport, so the intensity and sense of urgency is evident from start to finish. With a 12-second shot clock and a live ball after made baskets, the action never stops. Games are a 10-minute sprint, or who can get to 21 the fastest. The ball must be cleared beyond the arc after every change of possession, which only adds to the intensity with the 12-second shot clock ticking down.
